I usually tip 15% for beauty services, and, on some occasions, 20% $5.25 is 15% of $35, so if you feel comfortable skimping a little with your tip, you could just give five dollars...20% would be $7. 5 bucks with a smile if they do a good job and are nice, but if they are really rude( i have had this happen) just give them $1 and give them i TO look!!
You can leave $6 and feel very comfortable.
I would tip 5$ and make it an even 40$.
