French Manicure?

I'd really like to know hot to do a french manicure at home. I've been thinking about buying one of those french manicure kits, but I'm not sure how good they are. Does anyone have any suggestions?French Manicure?
If you buy a french manicure kit, make sure it has the sticky things that you put on your nail to seperate the white tips from the rest of them. It makes it so much easier!French Manicure?
they work okay. You can buy the little stickers and you stick them below th part that is white and it makes a nice even line.
get a french manicure kit where the white polish is like a marker.


dont bother using the strips, i get a better line donig it freehand
personally i don't like the at home ones they destroy my nails if they r the glue on ones!!!!!!!!
oh yay! i was thinking about doing my nails today! i do my own nails, but it takes a bit of practice before they start looking good. hahah. you'll need some guidance, but it's wayy cheaper than the ones you get done at the salon. but the salon ones last A LOT longer. their acrylic/gel are much more professional and have better quality. the manicure kits are good, but you'd want to also buy the artificial nail cutter as well, so the cut will look more professional. i hope i helped =]
i give myself at home french manicures all the time! buy a the nail polish you want as your base and buy a pure white polish. first, paint your nails with the base color. then, dip a TOOTHPICK into the bottle of white polish and draw a line on the tip of your nail. my first tries were never perfect but after a few times, it looks salon done!

for fake tips you have to make sure about the size of your nails. for the painted on ones it didn't work well for me if u do it by urself. have some1 else do it 4 u and it'll work out. good luck!
yes buy some white finger nail polish then buy the clear nail polish that has a pink tint to it and a polish sealer . paint the tips of your finger or toe nails white let dry then go over with te pink tinted clear polish let dry and then use the sealer .
yeah at walmart in the nail polish section they should have a kit of nails that the nail shops use and they are really good and you will save a lot of your money.
