me and my friends use tape and just put the tape at the bottom of the nail and leave the place you want painted. And then you cant mess up bc the paint that goes where you dont want it goes on the tape. Before you go to take the tape off though wait for it to dry it works better that way. TRY IT good luck.

well first paint ur nails the light color ur FULLL nail then when it drys use a tooth pick which r hard 2 use so try a ear wax cleaner thing and put water on the tip and then smooth down the hair thing s on it let it dry then put it in polish and carefully paint them
go slow is the best tip
also make sure you have good quality nail polish!!
