yes!! as long as your nails are not too short then any good beauty place should be able to give you a french manicure
They sale the white nail polish/ tip stuff in Wal- Mart... I don't use it (my mother does) my nail tips -for some reason- are naturally WHITE...

yes as long as your nails are long enough then you wont need false ones,i actually do my own at home nowadays,just buy a french manicure set from boots and paint on the tips yourself,it can be tricky at first but practice makes perfect.
you can buy the white tip nail Polish from boots, and maybe a nice clear one to go over the top...just practise and you will become a pro! and its cheaper!
Yes you can and its really easy. Buy a white nail varnish and paint just the ends of your nails, then paint a pale pink colour over the top %26amp; finish with an overcoat. Takes 10 mins and looks lovely. : )

Not a silly question at all. And yes, you can. It's just what they'll call a polish change. Some places can airbrush it or paint the white on with a brush. I got one for a wedding a couple of weeks ago. You don't have to worry about it like you do with polish when your toenails grow away from the cuticle and leave that bare gap....
of course you can just go down to the local chemist and get a manicure set and DIY or get ur m8 2 do it 4 u!
yup, easiest way I've found is to get a little masking tape or something (anything even clingfilm can work), place it on your nail, depending on how long you want the white piece.


once you've put the white part on and it's dried a lil take the tape off.





you have your nail, if you do it carefully then you should have a nice edge to it,





best to finish it off with a clear layer tho
yeah! people do that all the time! I do it all the time! if you just go in and ask for a french mani they will most likely just paint it right on your nails! most plases wont do it on false nails unless you tell them you want false nails! go get it done, its usually around $10-$20. HAVE FUN!
There's a difference between a MANICURE and False Nails.


A manicure consists of: washing the hands, exfoliating the hands, pushing cuticles back, filing the nails, massaging the hands and a hand mask then painting the nails. False Nails consist of: Putting on either french tips/or applying a full nail tip then putting on either gel or acrillic.





So... you can get a manicure before you apply ';false nails'; or have a manicure without having false nails or just get false nails.





So... to answer your question: You don't have to put on False nails to have a nice Manicure(and they can paint the nails french with Nail Enamel)...

if you have a steady hand you can do it yourself that's what I do. I use a white and very very pale pink nail varnish. I first put 1 coat of clear base coat on. then i sweep the white across the tip of my nail. let it dry. Then put a coat of pink over the entire nail. let it dry. then i finish with two coats of clear to seal it. most important bit is not to get your hands wet until it has completely dried. good luck x
french manicure is style, it can be done on natural nails or fake. When you go to a salon ask for a french manicure, you are asking for the polished french manicure on natural nails. If you are meaning to have fake nails plus french manicure, you need to ask for that and pay extra for it

Yes you can as long as they have just a little bit of length to them you can have it done. I don't think that it looks as good or lasts as long as when you have false nails but you can have it done.
yes i have long nails and just use a pinkish clear top coat i put that on 1st then i put on the white french tip coloer that you can get at Avon or rite any store then put the top coat back on they really look like there fake but there all natural.

yes. a good nail bar will just do the airbrushing for you. you can also buy the french nail kits in places like boots, superdrug and asda. i recommend the sally Hanson one, it last longer.
