i usually tip 3-5 bucks
15 % is sufficient. If it costs $30 then tip $4-5.
I normally tip my manicurist five bucks she is the best and I like her also she has been doing my nails for six years.
I usually tip $5 for a fair job and $10 for a good job. If they cut me I tell them -ow-no tip for you!!

';get a french manicure'; i got this 4 a answer AND I DONT KNOW WAT IT MEANS!!!!!!Wat is a french manicure?
go for a manicure or pedicure %26amp; tell them thats what you want. It is where the tips of your nails are white, the rest of the nail natural color, maybe a light pink. Very nice. your nails need to be a bit longer, they can make it work though.Wat is a french manicure?

nude nail with white tip
A french manicure is a certain type of manicure where the manicurist paints the tips of your nails white and then puts either white , clear, or pink on the rest of your nail. . Take a look at the following links for some pics

It means shove your tongue in somebodies A hole.
It's where you just get the tips painted white and the rest of the nail is coated with clear or light pink polish. You usually have to have longer nails to do it but they look like this:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/slink/images/255x14鈥?/a>

Usually when you get fake nails (acrylics) they look like that too.
its a manicure where they paint the tips of your nails white and they put this clear pinkish color on the rest of your nail. it is so cute. i always have my nails done. and a french manicure matches anything.

this is what it looks like:

you know where the top of the nail is, people who get a french manicure paint the top white and put some clear stuff on the rest of the nail

  • When you get a manicure...?

What do they do if you have really short nails, can you just tell them not to file down your nails or whatever, and what else happens when you get manicure with fake nails? When you get a manicure...?
When you get a manicure they will usually ask you what length you want them. People with short nails get manicures all the time. Even short, they still ask you if you want them cut or filed. When you have acrylics, usually they will cut back your cuticles because that is the main part of a manicure, cut the nails down a bit, depending on the length wanted, %26amp; then give you a fill, followed by the polishing. When you get a manicure...?
They will take care of your cuticles and file and buff your nails, then complain about your nail biting habit.

If you have acrylic or ';fake'; nails, they will maintain them for you.
they will file them just a little though to make it like smooth on the end but it really doesn't mater if your nails are short
just tell them what you want them to do

    Toe nail fungus/Manicure?

If you have a noticable nail fungus and you go to have a pedicure will they give you one? What can you do about nails when you can't afford the medicine??Toe nail fungus/Manicure?
I am currently studying to be a nail tech.

In my course we have been strictly told that if a customer comes in with a nail fungus that we are not allowed to do any service on them, and to refer them to a doctor.

We also have to disinfect and sanitise evey file and metal tool that we use on you so we there is no chance of cross contamination. This also includes the foot soaking bowl we have to soak it in a high grade disinfectant before using on the next client. They are very strict on this procedure.

It's not good how one bad nail tech can give the rest of us a bad name.

Any good nail tech will refuse to do a pedicure on you. If you can't afford the medicine how come you can afford to get your nails done???Toe nail fungus/Manicure?
My doctor and I have been trying to get rid of my toenail fungus for a year without success. It is EXTREMELY difficult to cure and the medication often damages the liver. I have to have blood tests every month to monitor my liver condition due to the medication. Also, the meds R expensive.

I have this condition, and I find it very frustrating that neither medical science nor alternative medicine has come up with a topical, OTC medicine to cure it, because it's fairly common. I have tried the expensive, not-covered-by-medicare anti-fungal drugs, but they don't give a permanent cure. I don't know about the pedicure situation, but all you can do is ask them anonymously on the phone. I just keep my toenails trimmed and ignore the fungus. If you go barefoot in the summer, paint your toenails.
First off, you probably got the toe nail fungus from the pedicure place!!

Didnt you see the spot on the National Nightly News about pedicures? How the woman caught something from the ';soak';, and a few women were dying from it as thier feet are rotting off!!

They dont clean those devices in which they soak your toes and feet, in fact, if you look in the bottom of them, they will have debris, sludge toe clippings, and other ';gunk'; in there that would discust anyone who saw that!

I would never let my Wife get a pedicure from anyone, lisenced or not!

Also, they use the same clippers on you that they use on people with other fungus and you could of caught it from them that way!

See if you can get a prescription of amoxcillian 500 mg and that ';may'; clear it up! Three pills a day. (Its an antibiotic).

(No I am not a Pysician, but, I know what works, and have seen it work).

    I wish you well...

    Jesse
They may not. Many people end up with a fungus or worse from getting a pedicure and you don't want to be part of that problem do you? Have you tried the OTC products like these:

    http://www.drugstore.com/search/search.a鈥?/a>

If you can afford a pedicure you can probably afford these. Not treating a fungus can lead to other health problems.

    whats hot this spring?Manicure question?
I ALWAYS go for the french tips. Clean and classy.

I wouldn't do acrylics, I mean they look nice, but whenever I get them my nails break and are very brittle. They're not that good for your nails and it's not worth it.Manicure question?
this spring what color is hot is either lime green, natural lavender or natural pink.

    French manicure help?

hi im getting a french manicure for the first time! in my life and im not sure how long it will last and is it better than a regular pedicure? Do they use regular nail piant or some powder?French manicure help?
An acrylic French manicure will use no polish, or perhaps a clear top coat. They use 2 different color powders to sculpt the nail onto you original nails and perhaps use forms to extend the free edge. They should stay on and not need attention for 2 weeks, then you will need to go back and get a fill to cover the nail that grew out during that time. Every 6 weeks you will need a back-fill to move the smile line back where it is supposed to be.

If they use polish, they will simply paint on the French manicure and that will start to chip. How long that takes depends on the quality of the base coat and top coat the use, and the kind of things you do with your hands.French manicure help?
Hi. Are you going to get tips? Because tips take a long time to get done, but they are worth it. But if your just getting a regular french manicure, then it probably won't take too long. Maybe 10 minutes, depending on the salon your at. No, it isn't powder, or regular nail paint. It is something like regular nail paint though. But I think you should just get a regular manicure because the white stuff some thimes chips and gets tiny holes. Try it out though. You may like it. I know I did!
hey!! when i get my nails done at the salon they just paint them with nail polish but if u want them to do tips u should ask them to .......i have done them onece and i LOVE Them!!!!!! i hope this helped you
depends on the salon your at...when i get french it usually takes like 30mins-45mins and they use polish

    what tools will i need

thanksTrue french manicure? easy ten points?
The top coat must be a transparent-pink color %26amp; than add white tips.True french manicure? easy ten points?
If you want french tips i highly suggest staying away from fake nails. they destroy your nails. Just use nail polish. Use white nail polish to cover the natural white tips of your nails. then put a light pink almost nude color over it once nail tips dry. then put clear coat. also i suggest using sally Hansen quick dry stuff. it works amazingly and drys in seconds and doesnt chip
first do a clear base coat

then you need a white tip liner it cannot be reg. nail polish.

then paint over it with the color of you choice

    last apply a top coat
You do the white tips first, and then either pink or tan over that on the whole nail.

  • Ladies....Do you think it's weird for a straight guy to get a manicure and a pedicure?

Absolutely not! I personally find it very SEXY.

It shows he is taken care of himself and if he is Single, can be quite a turn on - making any girl curiously wondering what he would do for them, in bed of course! ;)

No. Can you say Brad Pitt?
No. I like a guy that looks nice and takes care of himself.
No, that is considered being metosexual. Not gay, I think it's nice.
    yes
    Occasionally? No. Frequently? Yes.
    No, not at all.
No! you shouldn't get them more than a woman.
    pedicure yes.

    manicure no.
Kind of, but I still like it. Lets not kid ourselves here....men's feet are pretty gross.
    without a doubt, totally weird.
manicure no because they want to look nice too, pedicure yes... why would they care about their feet?
We all probably think It would take a very secure man to do that :D, but if the guy wishes to do that, i don't see why not. After all, wouldn't we just be stereotyping him to what we see as 'normal' straight guys?
Well i think a pedicure is fine but both nnnnnnoooooo!
No, but i like my man masculine and that's not very masculine to me.
no i like a guy with good hands and feet

No, not at all it shows that he takes care of himself, i think it's great !! ;0)
no, guys are metrosexual these days. i would much rather have a guy with nice nails....rather than a catchy one scratching you as her trys to caress you!!!! same with moisturising and stuff- just so long as he doesn't paint them too
    YESSS

every guy i met that does that is a CREEEPERRR
    No
    yesss.
Not at all. It shows that he has pride in himself and wants to look well groomed. There are different facials than women's that they can get as well. My plastic surgeon says he has quite a few guys come in for treatments. Men are taking better care of their appearance than they did in years past I think.

By the wording, I assume you mean it is only gays who should look tidy and presentable
no why shouldn't you. if ceo's and powerful straight men can why can't you?

You can buy little sticker arches to put on the nail bed, it works like a sticker/stencil to create the curve shape or you can free hand paint it if you have an artistic knack.

    Practice makes perfect!
There are guide stickers u can use put them on paint let dry peel them off perfect every time. I got mine at the drug store
you can buy nail brushes at local pharmacies they come in all different sizes.
If you have no clue how to do it, you might be better off using the new french tip manicure pens rather than trying to master a brush right now. They're in the same area of the pharmacy or store as the french polish sets.
what you do is you take some scotch tape and put in across ur nail except the top then just paint it white (or use white out!)
They sell little kits (at Target) that you paint your whole nail white then wait for it to dry then put a little sticker curvy thing on the tip where the white line will stay. Then you push it down really hard so there are no air bubbles or anything and then paint the natural color over it. Then you wait for that to dry and pull the sticky strip off and VOILA! French manicure!
well this is how i do it. i paint the tip of the nail white and to make the bottom of the white part clear and not messy, i take a q-tip with nail polish remover on it and glide it to make a nice line, it works well and really makes it look nice (:

    1 manicure 2 ladies?

    LADIES please,

How many of you expierience this when you go to get your nails done? A manicure should take about what..15 minutes or so to do and a pedicure about 20-25 min? Why do so many of the shops now start 1 lady on your manicure and then 5 minutes lady switch over to someboby elts to finish what would take another 5 minutes to do? People tell me its their way of having to tip both girls. No way am i tipping 2 girls, for 1 manicure(they do the same thing if your having a pedicure too) So what would you do in this situation? By the way she does not have another customer to work on that she had to give it over to another girl!1 manicure 2 ladies?
i know where your coming from please.. only tip the one you thought did the best work or the most or the give the women who did your 1st forget the other one if they ask why just say you shouldn't have switch.1 manicure 2 ladies?
Well i would tip the one who is nicest and does a good job!! If they both did well split the amout(tht you would give one girl) and give them both a little!!
Jeez I'm freaked out about going for manicures and pedicures I've seen to many horror stories about unclean and unsterilized footbathes and clippers. I do my own. But if you really trust the place leave 15% of the total bill and let the ladies split. You shouldn't have to tip both 15% that could cost as much as the manicure. But really check to make sure every thing is sterile and comes out of a sterile package and ask how they sterilize there foot bathes. I watched Tyra Banks one day and man they had horror stories of women getting bacterial infections from manicures one women even died of the bacterial infection freaked me out. So be safe. Good luck
If there is only one customer to be worked on and 2 employees maybe they are just sharing the work in order to be able to share the tip. Splitting the tip for sharing a job is better then one employee making tips and the other not. No one gets cut short at the end of the day. You would still tip the normal 15% to 20% because you arent receiving any more service then if one person did it all.

Tip for the service, not the number of people that do it.

I've had this happen myself. Every time i get my nails done the woman fills them for me then i move over to another station for the designs and polish. I prefer this because the quality is what i want. Every technician has their strong points and week points.
you could ask them why they swithed .. or just go into a in deph convo with the first one :O and she cant leave MWHAHAA...

I have soaked them in acetone and its like they are freaking permanent, I have managed to get the white tips off of some of them, but not the hardener stuff on the rest of my nail. These are really annoying and I really need some tips to get them off!How to remove french tip manicures.?
Soak your nails in acetone. If that doesn't work go to a nail salon. They have professional strength remover. I have also clipped them off or dug at them. good luck!!How to remove french tip manicures.?
    seek intervention
Pay 5 bucks and get it done professionally, go back to the folks who did it. You dont want to ruin your natural nail
    soak them in acetone
Find something thin to slide under the nail to pop them off...or you can try the break them in half, then peel them off. How long do you soak them in acetone? Sometimes it takes like 20-30 min to eat the glue.
If they are fake nails have your manicurist take them off, if they are just treated with french manicure, it takes a lot of coats of polish to acheive the look. Just get a really good nail polish remover (I like the ones you dip your fingers into) and get the coats off. Sometimes it takes a few dips.
u can go to the place that u got them and pay 3$ for them to take them off thats how much it cost when i go. i usually peel them off moving them back and forth until its loose and peel it off.
id just cut the top if they are long and leave em like that..or go to nailsalon ..there is no easy way.
Soak your hands in nail polish remover for about 30 minutes, and then put in hot water for about 10 minutes.
soak your hands in hot water

    Gel manicure??

what is a gel manicure is it just something they put on top of my nails to be stronger? or are they like tips where they add to the length of your nails? can i paint it any color i tell the lady?Gel manicure??
i think the gel manicure is with you get french tips and they use the UV light to dry them instead of the air paint thingy. i always get those done instead of getting the air paint thing cause i usually mess up my nails when there wet so i have to use the UV light way. and i'm sure yu can get it any color.

    Cheap manicure/pedicure in Arizona?

I need to get a pedicure and manicure for my wedding in two weeks. I haven't gotten either since about 1999 -- and I'm on a really tight budget. Anyone know of any of those beauty schools in the Mesa/Chandler/Gilbert area who give mani-pedis at a deep discount (or anywhere else inexpensive)? Incidentally, if you know of a salon along the same lines I need that too.Cheap manicure/pedicure in Arizona?
All beauty schools allow clients to come in for VERY discounted prices on services. Just remember, ';You get what you pay for'; The students are still students and they are getting experience by working on you! Good luckCheap manicure/pedicure in Arizona?
i just got my nails done at some asian family's store. they do amazng work and the manicre was only like 15 bucks.

    French manicure or Pearl white/pink?

i always used to get a french manicure with a light pink line between the nail bed and the tip.

the light pink line adds just a touch of color, but doesn't look trashy....very classic.

    try it!

    P.S.

i used to get a little line of glitter if i had a special occasion coming up, or a bright fun color if i was going to do something bright and fun!

it's an easy way to add a little color to a classic look.French manicure or Pearl white/pink?
    well, it depends.

i would tell you to get a french manicure for an important event, like a wedding.

however, if you are getting your nails done for fun, i would suggest getting pearl white/pink. unlike a french manicure, these colors match with almost anything.

hope i helped and good luck!French manicure or Pearl white/pink?
It depends your personality... i hate french manicure is just boring so not me! i do crazy designs with bright colors...
    do the frenchy
French Manicure is way better. If u want a little shine out clear nailpolish on it it looks asome!

My gf took me for a manicure . . . HELP!!?

my gf went for a manicure and pedicure today and i drove and they suckered me into doing it too. there were two asian ladies working on me and my gf talked me into clear polish though while i was watching the football game on the tv, they did red like hers.

my gf things my red nails all hilarious and says i need to keep them for a few days, how can i get the red polish off and get back at her?My gf took me for a manicure . . . HELP!!?
    Duh. Nail polish remover.

If you think you should get back at her think again.

It's not her fault at all. plus you can't be mad at her for thinking it's funny. because it is and if it happened to your buddy you would find it funny too.

Also if you try to get back at her you will be miserable, because she will take the same approach i described above. It's not like she planned it.

O and you know it felt good. my boyfriend loves to go with me.My gf took me for a manicure . . . HELP!!?
Well, go to your local store, and ask for some finger nail polish remover. It feels really weird having to describe it, but I forgot your a man so. You basically poor the polish on a cotton ball, or tissue, and wipe of you fingers with it.

    How to get her back?

Just do something that you know will tick her off! Throw what she did to you in her face! It'll be hilarous!
Try to remove it with nail polish remover and tell your friend if she was laughing at you, it wasn't done professionally and you didn't want your nails looking like you did it in 5 minutes and ran out the door to do something. Hope it Helps!
hahaha, that's hilarious. Well first off, use NAIL POLISH REMOVER to get it off, and hurry before people think your fruity..lol. %26amp; hmmm that's a good one and hard to get back at...haha she so suckered you in! Idk?
get the red polish of by getting a cotton and soaking it in nail polish removal and remove the red from your nails

get back at her by messing up her nails like for example when she is asleep paint them all a different color and cut them all cricked
hahaha thats funny!! sucks though nail polish remover thats the only thing..funny how no guys know that..this kid at school was like i am going to be swimming i bet the chlorine will take it off once when i painted some of his nails..im like no nail polish remover chlorine wont get the job done..hehe
to get it off you take a cotton ball, dip it in rubbing alcohol, and rub it off. it will be hard at first but it will come off eventually.

i don't know how you can get back at her dye her bra maybe?
hahahah, that was nice of youu.

awww :) jk ummm, NAIL POLISH REMOVERR! lol

tell her how you feel she cant make you do something

like that even if you reallly love her i think you showed

her enough by getting your nails done! lol
Makeup remover you can get at any drugstore.

If she's not uptight, put some semi-permanent hair dye in her shampoo or something.

But that is pretty funny :)

And next time, try to be less oblivious lol
Nail Polish Remover available at any drug store .. or any grocery store or anything for that matter. Like CVS Pharmacy, Ralphs, Target, Walmart, etc.

Tell her your going somewhere else and bring her to some manly thing ( : like wrestling lol
Go to the store or raid your gf's room/bathroom for nail polish remover.

    Do something manly to her:

Change all of her girly toiletry items like deodorant and shaving gel and body spray to Axe and Tag scented stuff.

    Good luck :)
hahahaha this makes me laugh, thats something i would do.

idk, the only equal payback is like putting steroids in her drink or something.
    lmao

~~or yu can take her to the salon and say ur eyebrows needs a wax then yu can tell the asians to wax them all off

~~Deposit money in their bank account every week and don't reveal your identity - - big amounts too.. they won't know who did it.. it will make them crazy!!!

Firstly, shape nails with an emery board to the shape you desire, oval, round square, squoval etc...

soak your hands in a bowl of warm water to soften the cuticles (if you have cuticle cream then massage it into each cuticle and soak for10 minutes) this will looses the cuticles and make it easier to push back.

Get n orange stick (or hoof stick) and push back the cuticles..

    http://www.ehow.com/images/ehows/steps/m鈥?/a>

If you ow cuticle scissors the snip around the cuticle making sure not to cut to short...

If you have buffing paste and a buffer then great...apply the buffing paste to each nail avoiding the cuticles as this will dry them out..then buff...buffing brings circulation to the nails which helps with nail growth...

Wipe away any excess oils with nail varnish remover make an evn urface for the nail polish.

Paint your desired colour and enjoy.

  • Manicure help?

I'd like to give myself a manicure. Can anyone give me step by step instructions? I have bad cuticles, so please suggest how I can make them look better also. Thanks.Manicure help?
soak your nails in soapy warm water and use a cuticle stick to gently push back the cuticles

Here is a website to help you out:

    http://beauty.about.com/cs/gorgeousnails鈥?/a>Manicure help?
Cut, file and soak on warm soapy water...proceed to the second hand..do the same cut, file and soak..

after soaking the other hand, apply cuticle remover and push the cuticle.. then nip and buff the nail..

reapeat on the other hand.. after soaking..

then massage with hand lotion and clean the nail with alcohol before applying the base coat..then nail polish and your top coat..

If the cuticle is really bad, you need to maintain it regularly or visit a nail salon for further improvement. It takes extra time and skills to get those bad cuticles around the area and might get you ingrown. Nail technician has lots of practice and skills the way they do the nails..your money worth if you can find a better place to learn those techniques before doing it by yourself.

Prepare your implements and products before your manicure starts and sanitize your tools after use.

    good day!

Manicure experts?? answers as soon as possible plz??

ok well im getting my nails done 4 the first time %26amp; alot of my friends when they get their nails done they have names on their nails... %26amp; also a design so i want 2 get a design %26amp; lyke 2 - 4 names on my nails about how much would that cost??Manicure experts?? answers as soon as possible plz??
like 1 bucks a design one nail its 10 bucks for the nails all designs i usly have the same price offerd at bunch places avrage place costManicure experts?? answers as soon as possible plz??
The design and names will cost you total with manicure about $25.00-30.00. But my suggestion would be to get a manicure with a pretty polish and no design or name. If you look at all the stars and models on t.v. or in the magazines , you never see any funky stuff. Remember less is more and names and designs on nail are tacky. Dont worry about what your friends are doing, be unique and classy.

HELP ME!! i got a manicure and the diamond rhinestone wont come off! It littelly glued on there. Please help i

its been on for like 2 weeks

hELPHELP ME!! i got a manicure and the diamond rhinestone wont come off! It littelly glued on there. Please help i
im a nail bitter so i normally bite it off but what sometimes work is soak ur fingers in nail polish remover for a while and it should come off but theres always the option of going to the nail salon. They have some kind of liquid that takes it offHELP ME!! i got a manicure and the diamond rhinestone wont come off! It littelly glued on there. Please help i
one way to get jewels off your nails is to take a little bowl of container and fill it with strong fingernail polish remover or acetone and soak the finger with the jewel on it in the remover and let it sit for a minute or so...this will help eat away the glue holding the jewel on the nail...i hope this will help you...
grab your eyebrow tweezer and poke at the sides of the rhinestone, then try to shuffle the tweezer underneath the rhinestone and pick it off.

also , try to get under the rhinestone with a toothpick or a needle and pop it off.
Go back to the salon and have them remove it. They should have solvents that will release the glue.
    maybe nail polish remover
    um, try nail polish remover.
rinse it in hot water then try to get it off again
go to the place you got it and ask them why this is happening

First time getting a french manicure done. help?!?

i got a picture of exactly how i want my nails to be. and it the picture it shows the length and style i want (which is simply the french manicure). am i allowed to show this picture to the person thats doing my nails. or do they just do it however they do it?First time getting a french manicure done. help?!?
You can have it done anyway you want it done, they are there to serve you!!!!!!First time getting a french manicure done. help?!?
it stictly matters on the salon you are going to, if they are booked and in a rush they wont care wat you want. If it is a nice caring place then show them the picture and they will do that for you..no matter wat your nails will come out looking great, even it is not how you imagined it.
Of course, show it to them, but what you end up with is based on your natural nails if you aren't using acrylic and how good the nail stylist is.
of course your allowed. otherwise you might be unhappy with your results. To my knowledge most hair stylists, and estheticians prefer you to know exactly what you want
i dont think that showing the peron doing your nails would mind if you showed them how you would like them done. there your nails and they should do them how you want it...i would take the change and show them how YOU wnat them done and go from there!! good luck!!=)
Of course you can! It may help the manicurist in picking an appropriate colour and length for the look you're going for. They take pride in their work and will be happy to know that their customer will be satisfied when they're finished.
yes of course do show them it will work out thay need a lead to help out not rude at all
That's a good question! I'd love to have a french manicure done, I've never had one. I know whenever I get a haircut, I take pictures of similar haircuts to the one I would like, but I've never heard of people doing it with nails. It makes sense though! I mean, the worse they could do is say no, and then you can go elsewhere till you find someone who knows how to do it like you'd like! I mean, YOU are the one paying for it, after all! :)
You can show it to them and they might do it like that unless they are stubborn...............
take the picture in and tell them you want active lenghth square looks better than oval does good luck
oh yeah definently show her the pick, they want to make u happy so this will actually make thier job easier! have fun, wish i was coming with you
You're paying for it. They will give you anything you want done to your nails. Don't be afraid, it's actually quite relaxing. =]
You can absolutely show them the picture, HOWEVER BEWARE chances are it wont come out EXACTLY the way it is in the picture, but i would definitely show the picture so they have an idea of what you want.

Should a guy get a manicure?

i sometimes like doing girly thing and i want to just have it done so they look nice but would it be to wierdShould a guy get a manicure?
I think it's nice when guys get manicures.....A lot of salons now have packages specifically catered towards men, some of which will include a manicure, along with a facial or a sports massage of some sort.Should a guy get a manicure?
I think that would actually be kind of hot...I really like when guys care a lot about their appearance.
I would never do it but that's only because I'm the masculine type. If you want to do it, then you should do it - don't worry about what others think.
That would be fine if you simply just have them clean your nails and do the hand-massage portion, but no paint haha not even clear!
Of course not! Good grooming is an A++ in my book for Men! :-)
This world (in many countries and aspects) has trouble with one word.. change!

Why can women get nice nails...and men cannot, only to hold up an image that is, in the end, only stereotypical?

Although I wouldn't recommend painting them!

    :)
nope! there have been many times when i've gone to the nail salon and seen a guy come in just to make their nails look nice! :)
no its not wierd...my teacher said he had a bully at school that would beat the crap out of anybody but he gets his nails done every week..i thought that was pretty funny
:)If you want to.Then sure go for it.Dont worry what other people think.
I suppose it's OK if none of your friends find out about it.

If they do, they will quite rightly make fun of you.
i go to see other guys and i am not gay. i like mans muscles.
Its not weird at all, loads of guys get manicures
    well..

having a manicure is not that weird.. lol.. but u gotta check the fact that u like doing girly stuffs.. watch it!!

How much does a manicure usually cost from Walmart Supercenter? And how long does it usually take for them to do it?Manicure questions?
Don't go to Walmart. Go to an actual salon place. It will cost you like 15-20 bucks. If that.Manicure questions?
I agree totally. Don't go there.
don't go there go to a salon and it is only like $20 and it is worth it

    Manicure question?

Do you need long nails to get a manicure?Manicure question?
    LOL.Manicure question?
Not necessarily. If you plan on getting false nails then your natural nails don't have to be long, but if you do use your own nails and they're really short then you might not be able to get a manicure. Even though this may be a factor, manicurist try to find ways to make it work and even if you can't get the manicure you can always get your nails polished with a little design.
    Not at all
I have short nails and love maicures!!!
Not at all... good luck %26amp;%26amp; make sure you get a hand massage! They are the BEST!
No short nails can be groomed perfectly also
yes, they need to be exteremely long

    the longer the better
no. a manicure doesnt have to mean the whole filing, buffing, and nailpolishing. you can just have done whatever you need. short nails can even get french tipped, which makes them appear longer.

    Manicure set?

I am looking for a good manicure set. It must include a buffer. Doess anyone have a set they are happy with that they would recomend? (If you can include a website where I can order it, that would be great.)

I don't want to go to the salon all the time, whenever I have a problem. I want a kit to take care of small problems myself.Manicure set?
I swear by the Ms. Manicure sets! They sell them at Kohls and they cost $5-20. This one was on the website, but they have much more to offer in store: http://www.kohls.com/products/product_pa鈥?/a>

You should also take your kit with you to the salon because most salons DO NOT do a proper sterilization of the tools that they use which can cause infections and diseases in your hands/feet. Disgusting I know. Here is one from The Body Shop that costs $18 and is a good professional manicure set to take to the salon:

    Manicure for 14 month old?

My little girl's hands are peeling a little..she's got those cuticles growing into half her nail and dead skin too.

How do I take care of her hands?

Pls dont suggest lotions or creams cuz her hands are always in her mouth!Manicure for 14 month old?
You can rub her fingers with olive oil. It's natural and healthy, and good for the skin! Really rub it into the cuticles which tend to tear quite a bit when kids are small. And you can manicure just as much as that little one of yours will let you LOL. Good luck with that though, I have four kids and none of them like to sit still very long!Manicure for 14 month old?
You can try using a home made brown sugar scrub. Basically you mix brown sugar and white sugar with some oil. Rub it on the dry skin to help exfoliate then rinse all of the sugar off and massage in the oils. If she does happen to eat any of it, it's just food. One 'recipe' I found suggests 1 cup of brown sugar and 1/2 cup of olive or coconut oil.
Lansinoh breast cream is good for dry, cracked skin and is safe for babies to ingest when applied to the breast, so I would suggest using that on her hands.

    Manicure Question! easy!?

I'm getting a full set of acrylic nails for the first time. i want rounded french tips that are no more than a 1/4 of an inch longer than my nails. what should i ask for when i get to the nail place so i don't sound clueless? lol thnks!Manicure Question! easy!?
hehe don't worry. they really can't understand you anyways. lol.

when you get there just say you want acrylics and they'll start. after they have the base on and the nail, they'll ask you how short you want them by showing you where they're gonna cut, and just show them where. then after that they'll ask you what shape you want, say rounded, and they'll do it. don't worry. :)Manicure Question! easy!?
Just tell them exactly what you just said. You should really tell them ahead of time because sometimes they use different tips for the rounded shape.

to twist your nail is to just move your finger along the pen

just try to make the tip very skinny

not thick otherwise it looks very fake and horrible...

the paper is just training papers

ok here is step by step instructions

1.first take off any old nailpolish

    2. then put on the clear polish

    3. then shake the pen

    4. take cap off

    5.press it against some paper

6.then take the papers and put them on the tip of your nail

7.take the pen and draw everywhere but below the paper

    8. do all nails then let dry for 15 mins!!!

that time is very important incase the nail polish isnt dry underneath the paper

    9. OPTIONAL put the pinkish cream color over it.

its optional because sometimes it makes your nail look horrible

    Manicure with limes?

A new nail salon opened up near by recently and I tried them out today since they are closer than the nail salon I usually got to. They soaked my nails in water and fresh lime juice, then rubbed each nail with a slice of fresh lime. I can't imagine the benefit of lime juice to your nails, but why else would they do this? I think no color would be prettiest. There would be nothing to take away from the beauty of your dress. Just do a regular manicure with clear nail polish and a tiny bit of french white at the ends, not a full french manicure. You don' t want anything to detract from that beautiful creamy white dress with the black ribbon and bottom. The clear will accenuate the dress.
A clear topcoat with either a creamy white or black design on the thumbs? Do whatever you want and think will look good with your dress. Or ask your friends and or family what they think... Good luck and have fun at the wedding!

    Do It Yourself French Manicure

Ooh La La ... Do It Yourself French Manicure

    by Kathryn D'Imperio

Want professional looking nails without spending your day’s pay in the salon? With some practice and a little patience, you can enjoy fancy nails anytime you want for only the cost of your nail polish!

Their pale pink base and bright white tips characterize the ever-popular French manicures, which are a common request at nail salons everywhere. Professional nail stylists may paint your nails alone or they may apply fake tips if you desire. Based on your personal preferences, a nail designer will give your nails a strengthening and conditioning workout prior to painting them. If you get your nails done with fake tips, you may have to make a trip back to the salon to get your French tips “refilled” when your nails have grown noticeably.

Keeping longer, healthy nails will be most conducive to sporting a French manicure. To complete your own French manicure, begin with the following steps to prepare your nails for the procedure.

    * Using a cotton ball soaked in nail polish remover, wipe off any old nail polish prior to painting nails. Wash hands and soak in warm water for a few moments.

    * With an orangewood stick, gently push back the cuticles so they are all even with each other once the water has softened your skin.

    * With nail clippers, beauty scissors or a nail file, shape your nails evenly.

    * With a steady hand, carefully paint only the tip of each nail with a white hue. A second coat may be desirable, depending on the thickness and opaqueness of the polish. Allow polish to dry between coats.

    * Using a slightly transparent pink or nude color, paint the entire nail once the tips have dried. A second coat may be necessary. Allow nails to dry thoroughly.

    * Once all the coats have dried, apply a clear topcoat to protect your new French manicure. To lengthen the manicure’s lifespan, make an effort to paint a clear coat on each night. Be sure it has ample time to dry completely.

    * If you are feeling especially creative and ambitious, kick off your shoes and match your tootsies to your fingertips!

This procedure is best performed on a lazy morning or evening when no other pressing errands or tasks will get in the way. After painting your nails, avoid doing things with your hands while they dry.

For an easier painting technique, check the beauty section of a drug store or superstore for a French manicure kit. The set should contain, at the very least, nail polish in white and pink or beige and a clear topcoat. Some manicure sets - like COVERGIRL’s French Manicure Kit – will contain tiny, sticky nail guides. These make the manicure process 100 times easier by allowing you to place the guides on each nail individually, leaving a small margin where the polish can spill outside the tip without tainting the rest of the nail.

As the holidays approach, let your crazy side out by concocting a wildly modified French manicure - green and white for St. Patrick’s Day, pastel shades for Easter, black and orange for Halloween and red and green for Christmas. Have fun and remember, even if you find the do-it-yourself French manicure difficult at first, practice will provide you with the skills you need to create beautiful and perfect manicures all year long!Is there a certain technique to doing a french manicure yourself? i keep messing up. help!?
Um. There are things you can get at drugstores that are stickers that you put on yer nail and then paint above them. But if im going to do a french manicure i usually practice on my toes. but make sure to wipe a lot of the polish off on the side of the bottle so it doesnt glob up and then i usually do little dots and try to smooth them out. It takes a lot of practice. But if you have just 1 mess up spot or so a wooden cuticle stick can help clean them up.

namasteIs there a certain technique to doing a french manicure yourself? i keep messing up. help!?
IT is hard to do it yourself. There are two ways. Apply white to top in one motion following the curve of your nail or do it in two sections, from one end to middle of nail and then the otherside to middle. You have to find which way works best for you. then apply the pink or clear over entire nail. You might need to coats of white first. It's hard to explain without showing you. I hope this helped.
it depends what you bought if you bbought the sticker thing get some one to hold it for you while you paint your nails
If you have a steady hand, you can learn to do a better job than the professionals. Just get a bottle of white nail polish, clear nail polish, an eyeshadow brush (NOT a sponge), some pure acetone, and a little glass (a shot glass is perfect). It must be pure acetone because this works much cleaner than polish remover, and it must be an eyeshadow brush and not a Q-tip because the Q-tip will not work as neatly and can get fuzz stuck in the polish. Carefully pour some acetone in the shot glass and put the eyeshadow brush in there. Paint the tips of your nails white, and go down a little further than you want the white. Take the brush with the acetone and erase what you don't want using rounded, sort of sideways strokes. Let the white dry for a while and paint over with the clear. This takes practice, but I got to where friends and family members were asking me to do their nails and some even trying to pay me. It's not that hard. The stickers just make it way too difficult and sloppy (I've found), and they don't last nearly as long as the kit I described to you. Good luck!
what you can do is get some colored tape (black electric tape) and line it up to how u want ur tips to be...then u paint it with the polish u want to use...then take the tape off....and then let it dry sum b4 putting on the clear coat...dats it...or go to a salon and get it done...
save yourself the aggervation, and get it done professionally...
When applying the white, always brace your pinky on the table or on your hand.

Also you can get a natural bristle paint brush, dip it in polish remover and wipe away any white you don't want. With this technique you can't use a basecoat (not that you really need one with really light polish) and if you are using white and pink, you have to put the pink over the white.

For a quick and easy french manicure, just swipe the white on the ends of your nails and cover with a top coat.

    French Manicure v. Regular Manicure?

Is it just me or does a french manicure chip faster than a regular manicure or pedicure... I have recently been getting a color and it seems to last forever.. I remember when I use to get french on my toes and nails they would chip quickly... (i am talking about on real nail)French Manicure v. Regular Manicure?
I don't find that to be true. I think if you use enough coats of clear topcoat they won't chip for at least 5 days or so. (Let each coat dry before putting on the next.)French Manicure v. Regular Manicure?
i think that french manicures chip faster. i always get color becuz it seems more worth my money. if you want your french manicure to last a long time go home each day and reapply a couple of clear top coats for protection
Yes it sure does. That's the downfall of the french manicure. The only way it will last is on acrylic nails.
    French
Yes, it does chip faster as the white bit of it is so thin.
i think they last about the same

    Perfect French Manicure?

    Okay.

So I don't really want to go to a salon and get them done.

But I want to do them at home. I want a french manicure.

My mom usually helps with my nails and such. So...

Anybody have tips that would be helpful? :]

Thanks. All help is much appreciated.Perfect French Manicure?
Get a kit, it comes with the little strips and the two colors, plus instructions. Hope this helped!Perfect French Manicure?
    Okay, heres how I would do it: First, I would let my nails grow a good length, maybe a few millimeters. I would either cut them so the are perfectly round tipped ( flip-out clipper) Or perfectly squared. ( scissors, nail file) second, soak the tips with lemon juice. (lemon juice makes a natural white tip) Then, I would buff them with a nail buffer, including high gloss. Finally, I would paint over with clear nail polish, and with white nail polish on the tips. (Or clear nail polish with glitter, or transparent color with glitter) Hoped that helped. (^;
You can buy little sets that have a base coat and top coat in, pink and white nail varnish in it and also the stickers to put on your nail whilst you paint the white tip on then you peel it off and its perfect, they're really good and will look swell

(Sorry swell was such a geeky word but i thought it went hahaha)
hey well i just did mine at home before school started so i might be helpful... you could go to the store and get the french manicure set or paint a thin layer of white on the tip of your nails and right before you go to the next nail... you use your thumb nails to shape it(but do you thumbs last!)or you can cut out a curve out of a piece of paper and use that to shape them but let it stay there after because if you take it off really soon, the white nail polish will smear down your nail! I hate that so much! Lol! Well if you need anymore help just ask me! bye!
there's no such thing as a perfect french manicure. they reek of trailer trash and tacky.

but you could get away with it if you do it in weird colors (which is really 2 years ago but who cares) and not:

    -thick

    -square

    -long.
I love french manicures and i do mine myself regularly. I learnt by watching this film on video jug it's great.

    http://www.videojug.com/film/how-to-give鈥?/a>

    Hope it helps.
You can purchase kits at the drugstores and other main stores. They include:

    White polish for the tips.

    Nail tip guide strips

    A clear top coat.

uh... you can get the stickers that u put on your nails so that your can get straight good french tips... and good nail polish that isnt gooey, that kinda stuff costs like $6 a bottle.... =/
Uhm.. usually using something to give you a straight line helps.

    Possibly, duct tape?
you could use a q-tip or a flat dome shaped brush %26amp; dip it in nail polish remover then remove the excess nail polish on your nails %26amp; make the lines straight.

    hope i helped :]
get the l'oreal self manicure set...

it has the base coat and a thin white brush for the tips
    ?
those are hard to do on your own, I would recommend you go to a salon.

  • Whats wrong with a MAN getting a manicure ?

yersterday i spen all day at a beauty spa and i came home and my gf said i looked like i just spent a day in heaven.

and i told her and was like '; omg thats so sweet ! i had no idea you were that you were so into that kinda stuff '; and then she starts saying that im a marshmellow.

whats wrong with a guy who workd out plays alot of football goes surfing plays street basketball and gets his hair and nails done ??

its not my fault i want to look and feel good how does that make me a marshmellow ?

i feel like getting a manicure is a manlyish thing to do.

in a wierd kind of way...Whats wrong with a MAN getting a manicure ?
Most successful men do get manicures. Despite what the populous wants you to believe, image and first impressions do make a huge difference.

Trust me, that includes gross nails.Whats wrong with a MAN getting a manicure ?
Nothing. I get a manicure once a week. They just look cool.
lmao, well... its not done alot. girs are normally the ones to get manicures, not guys..

but there nothing wrong with I guess... at least you dont have gross nails..
...and you have your degree in fashion design and merchandising and like to listen to Judy Garland %26amp; Barbara Streisand.
    Men get their hair done all the time... God knows we wouldn't want them to do it w/the ';flowbee!!';

As far as getting your nails done...hmmm.... what color nail polish are you using?? lol..jk
Well jon jon, it sounds kind of gay gay.
    Around here, they call them MANicures when it's for men. Sly Stallone gets them, so does Arnold Schwarzenegger, I think. Maybe you can say, ';I'm a man, I don't have to assert my manhood by only doing certain things.'; Or you could say, ';Honey, I want to look good for you.';
I am a girl and I hate manicures, but it you like them, then dont let society's expectancies get in the way of whatever makes you feel manly!
Wanting to look good is not a bad thing....i think it takes more of a man to go out and spend time looking good..
Nothing... I wish more men would get manicures... And pedicures too... There is nothing wrong with taking care of yourself, having manicured hands is a good thing. Not marshmellowy at all.
I don't think it makes you a marshmellow. Lots of men get a manicure.

If what she said really bothers you, talk to her about it.
I don't know what's wrong with it. Beauty is not feminine. I think people have been brainwashed by the media.
NOTHING!! She might just be jealous.
    real men don't
HMMM...I don't know!! Whatever floats your boat
Whats wrong with marshmallows, they get eaten don't they?

A man who takes care of himself and his appearance is fine as long as he doesn't stare at himself in the mirror, clean is good vanity isn't. A mans manicure is nice as long as he doesn't wear polish, even clear polish is thought to be too feminine, but if you like it, its not the worst thing in the world.
Ok now thats a bit over the top. Im all for men becoming metrosexual and caring about what they look like, i think its great some men use foundation and fake tan and moisturiser but getting nails done professionally? If you dont care what people think of you then go for it tho, im just warning you. Dont let guys call you gay and all that overused crap. Personally i wouldnt go that far myself but if you want to then who's to stop you? and if you enjoy it then carry on!
Oh nothing is wrong with it...especially if you love smoking pole too.

YOU GET IT?!?! 'CUZ THAT'S HORRIBLY GAY!

No but seriously, who cares. If you're into getting your nails done, so be it. If it makes you feel better than do it...you should just take your ';gf'; with you next time you go...your ';gf'; will probably love it too...

And you know why I wrote ';gf'; with the quotes right?

    BECAUSE YOU'RE HORRIBLY GAY!!!!

Just kidding...although your reply of, ';omg that's so sweet! I had no idea you were that you were so into that kinda stuff'; didn't necessarily help your case.

    A real man would have smacked her and been like, ';ENOUGH OF THIS INSOLENCE, WOMAN! NOW PREPARE FOR ME A CHICKEN POT PIE WORTHY OF MY MANICURED MANLINESS AND WHILE YOU'RE AT IT FETCH ME A COLD BEER, WENCH!!';
l0l u surff AND care about ur hygene and wat u look like?- Thatss h0tt lol
I don't think that there is anything wrong with it. I think society makes a big deal out of men getting manicures but I think it show that you care about the way you look. I like a man with clean well kept hands.
Well I don't go to get my feet done, so I wouldn't want my boyfriend doing it. His hair is different, there's nothing wrong with that, and there is nothing wrong with you wanting to look neat and presentable. But no one is going to see your feet so why does it matter if they're done or not? You're not going to be wearing any open toe shoes anytime soon are you?lol. Don't worry about her ,she's probably just not used to that. When I seen this guy at the nail shop getting a pedicure, he and his baby son, I thought it was hilarious. There's no gender on nail shops. Get a manicure, pedicure whatever you want babe live it up! Tell your girlfriend to stop being sexist! Woman rule! Whoo!
Nothing wrong with having pride in your appearance. Since you are so active I think its great that you take the time to have your nails done too. More men should do it.
Usually its men who wear suits to work and want their hands to match their very costly hair cuts. But any one who wants to look nice all over and can afford the cost is not a wimp to have a manicure. I had one when i got married. Last for me. But im a bit strange.
Well it is nice to know a guy is in touch with his feminine side but then again you might also be sending the wrong type of message but dont take my word for it.
i think it's sexy when a man cares enough about himself to get a manicure wish there were more self confident men out there
Absolutely nothing! Ever seen American Psycho? He takes care of himself and that adds to his hotness!
Men with money are most often seen with manicures...
I'm sure the marshmellow thing wasn't an insult

There's nothing wrong with getting mani or a pedi if ur a guy. shoot get a facial if u feel like it

Do you and keep maintaining yourself.
There is nothing wrong with it at all. It does not make you a marshmallow lol. It shows you care about how you look, and that's a good thing.
I think that's cool. I wish my man would do that!
    nothing wrong in it

    First time manicure?

I was think about getting my nails done for my birthday coming up. I've never gotten a manicure before so I don't know what to expect. Does it hurt because some people say it does some say it doesn't. Like getting acrylics. What is the process for that?First time manicure?
Getting acrylics hurts a little bit sometimes. They may tend to file down your nail a lot, and they may end up cutting your cuticles with the tool or filing down too deep into the nail so your underlying skin is exposed. That's pretty much the only part that hurt me. Generally, they glue tips onto your nails, cut the tips and file them down, then they cover your whole nail with the acrylic and file them and shape them. Then they get painted.

If you remove them yourself it might hurt a little too because those suckers are on strong. Your nails will look really rough and probably have ridges in them once you remove them also.First time manicure?
It doesnt hurt. It actually feels good I think when there like scrubbing ur nails. You should get clear gels, if you tell them there no what you mean. Its where they put white tips on ur nails and then make them all shiny. You can even get airbrushed on them. What they do is like thin ur nail out by using an electric file, you cant feel it at all though, and then glue the tips on and then layer it with the clear gel, dry it and then file them down to the right length. It takes about a half an hour to get done. But its painless. The only thing that may cause you alittle discomfort is when they put the tips on and begin to file down because ur not used to having the tips on yet so there still sensitive.
I love getting manicures! It doesn't hurt at all. It always makes me feel pampered and pretty! It's your birthday and what better way to do something special for yourself? Do it! You will definitely be happy that you did! A Very Happy Birthday to you!
It does not hurt. They will get your natural nails ready, put the acrylic on top and then shape/file them to look natural. Then the salonist will paint them how you want, a french manicure is always cute. Getting a manicure is great, may be a little discomfort when the manicurist messes with the cuticles, but nothing really bad. You will love the results.
I use to be a nail tech.

It shouldn't hurt to get a manicure.

I think it would be good if you ask maybe some of your friends where you live what nail shops are good to get your nails done at.

This is the procedure for a manicure:

    1. First the manicurist will take off your nail polish if you have any on.

2.Then she'll shape your nails with a nail filer.

    3. Then she'll buff your nails with a nail buffer.

    4. Then she'll ask you to soak your hand and nails in a finger bowl. ( the bowl has warm soapy water in it.)

She will repeat steps 1-4 on your other hand .

    5. Then she take the your hand that was in the finger bowl and dry your hand and your nails off.

    6. Then she'll apply cuticle solvent around the cuitcle of your right hand. (the cuticle is the toughened skin around the base of the finger nails and toe nails.)

7.Next she'll use the cuticle pusher and loosen the cuticle. And then she'll clean underneath your finger nails,to remove any dirt or debris under your nail.

8.And if it is necessary, she'll trim your dead cuticles with the cuticle nippers.

9.Then she'll remove your left hand from the finger bowl and repeat steps 5-8 on left hand.

10.then she'll get your right hand and stick it into the finger bowl and use a little brush to remove any dead cuticles off your fingernails.

    11. On right hand she'll dry off you hand and nails with a towel and then get some fingernail polish and rub it on your nails. Then she'll apply 1 layer of base coat on your nails.

    12. Then she will get left hand out of the finger bowl and dry off your hand and nails. And she'll repeat steps 10-11 on that hand .

    13. On right hand she will paint on 2 layers of finger nail polish on your nails. ( color of your choice.)

    14. She'll get left hand and repeat step 13.

    15. On right hand she will paint on 1 layer of top coat on your nails, and then let them dry.

    16. On left hand she'll paint on 1 layer of top coat on, then you let your nails dry. And your done.
you should get a manicure it's fun and ur nails look fabulous. it doesn't hurt.
it doesnt hurt i dont know about acrylics tough sry!

    D.I.Y: MANICURE??????????????????

How do i give myself a manicure using things at home? How do i get the tips to be white? is there something i can buy?D.I.Y: MANICURE??????????????????
    You will need:

    Tape

Nail Polish (color of your choice)

    top coat

    How to:

Cut the tape into small rectangles. Then put it on your nail but leave the tip out. make sure the tape stays on your nail the whole time!! then after you have put the tape on all 10 fingers (tips are not comeverd by the tape at anytime!!) Paint the tips the color you chose. After painting your nails and giving them the amount of coats you need. Let them dry. Once dry take the tape off SLOWLY!!. Put the top coat on and you are done!

    Hope i helped

Have you ever had a pedicure or manicure?

I'm 19 and I have no desire to ever have one.Have you ever had a pedicure or manicure?
I get manicures all the time. They get down into the dead areas that you can't or won't reach, not to mention the nail condition they use, plus when you have a big day ahead of you, it is very relaxing to let someone else take care of you. Now my daughters love getting manicures and pedicures, they get them all the time, especially in the summer when they are really showing off their feet.

But this is to each his own.Have you ever had a pedicure or manicure?
yes to manicure and not yet to pedicure, but one day I will. I need a really good pampering session, complete with foot massage, but my feet are ticklish and I kick out when they get touched and don't want to kick someone in the face. Im getting control of it though and when I do, I will have one. but my body is so sore right now that any massage sounds heavenly.
why not? i think you should, people need to take care of their feet. If you don't want some stranger to give you one, atleast go buy the stuff to give yourself one at home.

oh, i get a manicure atleast twice a month and a pedi like everyother month. but, my sister in law does it for me for free.
I had a manicure once, the day before my wedding (that was almost 3 years ago) and a pedicure once, just this past feb. Loved them both, but have better things to spend my money on.
Sure have, only a few manicures, but my toes are always done,

whether it be done by myself or paid for. Recently, I just got mine done, Friday, just my toes though.
Nope...if it was offered to me for free I would take it, but the nail polish is going to last what, a week, and then my ugly nails will be back again? It's just too much money for what they offer :P
ive had both and loved them, they are so comforting :)

    answer my question?

Is french manicure still in style?!?

I've asked a question on Yahoo!Answers about nail polish and was surprised that many users adore french manicure. Is it still in style? I thought it was a thing in a past, 'cause I wore it in high school, but I'm 28 now!! Is it a classic that never gets old? Nail stylists and make-up artists, what do you think? Is french manicure still in style?!?
I think the traditional chunky fake french nails are a little old school, but the more modern look with the nude nail and just a little white at the tip is very classy looking. Always keep your nails natural looking and soft colors. Bold and bright is just trashy. Is french manicure still in style?!?
it is but the new shape is squoval rather than squared traditional manicure styles.
i think it still is. looks very nice on nails that are medium length.
yes it is girl and I go as much as I can to get them done. Also girls are not just getting the plain white tips there adding colors.
it's not the trend right now...but i guess it's classic. try pretty pinks for the spring
It's a classic as long as your nails aren't super long.
    Yes
