French manicure help?

hi im getting a french manicure for the first time! in my life and im not sure how long it will last and is it better than a regular pedicure? Do they use regular nail piant or some powder?French manicure help?
An acrylic French manicure will use no polish, or perhaps a clear top coat. They use 2 different color powders to sculpt the nail onto you original nails and perhaps use forms to extend the free edge. They should stay on and not need attention for 2 weeks, then you will need to go back and get a fill to cover the nail that grew out during that time. Every 6 weeks you will need a back-fill to move the smile line back where it is supposed to be.

If they use polish, they will simply paint on the French manicure and that will start to chip. How long that takes depends on the quality of the base coat and top coat the use, and the kind of things you do with your hands.French manicure help?
Hi. Are you going to get tips? Because tips take a long time to get done, but they are worth it. But if your just getting a regular french manicure, then it probably won't take too long. Maybe 10 minutes, depending on the salon your at. No, it isn't powder, or regular nail paint. It is something like regular nail paint though. But I think you should just get a regular manicure because the white stuff some thimes chips and gets tiny holes. Try it out though. You may like it. I know I did!
