French manicure brush?

what is that kind of brush that the people in the salon use for french manicures to erase the excess of the white tip? i dont want to use the guide stickers because i dont like how they turn out. i just want to know what kind of brush and size to use.French manicure brush?
I am not an expert, but I have used both methods. I have to say the guides aren't too bad, they are quicker. The key with them is to use a nail polish that is thin, not thick and goopey. But, if you want to try to make a straight line on your own just use a slightly stiff bristled (new) eyeshadow brush dipped in polish remover, works great.French manicure brush?
