How long should i keep my french manicure? does it hurt when u take them off? how should i take them off?

You can go an average of 2-3 weeks between fills, depending on how fast your nails grow. So, it depends. And if the tech is skilled, and is doing your Permanent French the correct way (Forever French, Solar Nails,or just Pink %26amp; Whites - ALL the same thing), then you will need to be getting a backfill (rebalance) once every 4-6 weeks. This is because the white moves forward as the nail grows out, and before long it will look out of place. So, to correct this, the tech will essentially move the white back into the proper position. At the same time, your nails apex will be filed down and rebuilt in the proper place as well. The apex - or stress point, is the high point of your nail. You should be able to see it when you look at your nails from the side. If you don't have one (your nail looks 'flat'), then your tech is not doing them correctly. A backfill usually takes a bit longer to do than a normal fill because of the extra steps involved. It is also more expensive than a fill.

The first answer was correct in saying that when they are removed, they will need to be soaked off. Usually, only the cheaper salons ($25 or less for a full set) will ever pry them off with a nail tip. They will also do this - use nippers and literally tear them off of your nails. Both methods are painful, and both WILL damage your natural nails. There is not a correct way of doing this. Both are incorrect, and you should never let a tech do this to your nails, nor should you do this to your own nails. It is for this reason why you hear so many girls say ';It hurts so bad when they take them off.'; No, it doesn't hurt at all. Not if done correctly by soaking them off. But to have them pried, or torn off? Oh yes, that hurts quite a bit!

BUT, to be fair, I have seen a fair number of salons who charge way more than discount salons charge doing things the wrong way as well. It really comes down to the individual nail tech, and how skilled - or unskilled, they may be.

You will not need to have them removed for a long time if they are done properly. There is no reason for it, unless of course you decide to have them removed. Generally speaking, acrylics are removed and a new full set reapplied twice a year, maybe three times a year. But again, it depends on the tech.

I hope this helps :-)How long should i keep my french manicure? does it hurt when u take them off? how should i take them off?

keep them as long as you can... but refill if you want after you can see about a cm of your real nail.

it does hurt (A LOT) if you break it off... or if you don't do it right.

what they do in the salon is they take another fake nail and they run it under the acrylic and they come off but if you dont do this right it will hurt and could damage your nails.

you can also go to where you got your nails done and remove them. they'll charge you but you'll do them right.
If you're talking about acyrlic nails they last for about 2 weeks before you'll need to get them filled (more added to the inside edge where they've grown out) They do hurt if you pull them off yourself so if you decide to remove them I'd recommend going back to the salon where you had it done and have them soak them- they'll be removed without pain.
