Different type of french manicure?

i've seen a bunch of people with a different type french manicure..it's almost like white on white but the top part is a slightly different color. someone told me it was called the french manicure remix or something stupid like that, so i asked the people at my nail salon and they laughed when i said it haha. does anyone have any idea what i'm talking about? there must be a certain name for it. thank you!Different type of french manicure?
um, well when i do my french manicures i paint my nails baby pink then paint the tips white.. (then i add dots or decals ect)

Frankly, it can be called 'having too much time and nail polish on your hands and just mash it all together and hope to high heaven it can pass off as individual and unique.' But ugly.
